CHRISTIAN WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS ...

An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

Do You Know Unity? (2nd Mini.Sermon)

Unity's last name is not I, you, she or he; it is WE. Unity is being one with God and with each other, whether we are inside or outside of the church; being one with each other includes respecting one another. In Romans 12:10 "love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other." Ask yourself, do we respect each other inside and outside of church? Or "have we mastered the act of salvation and become "Great Pretenders"?

Now, the person sitting next to you is a unit, but that one unit and yourself becomes one body in Christ. We are all connected to the same VINE for the purpose of elevating the Kingdom; Is that Right?, so we must be unified to reach our purpose for the Kingdom; and I pray that after today we all will operate in our realm of UNITY. In Ephesians 4:3 "Make every effort to keep the UNITY of the spirit through the bond of peace.” why? because when you have peace in your spirit, you have respect and when you have respect you have UNITY; and when you have UNITY you have faith and when you have faith you have focus on the Lord at all times. - Amen

UNITY is praising God until we are one with him in worship.

The WHOLENESS of our hearts is the UNITY that God sees!

Our Identity that GOD has given us is UNITY and at no cost should we let anyone come in between us and UNITY because UNITY cannot be divided, but it can be multiplied to provide a greater purpose for the Kingdom of GOD.-Amen.

When we welcome UNITY into our lives, we are allowing GOD to make us whole and bring from within the light from our souls, remember it's not the spotlight that shines on you, but the light you shine on others, but when we keep the spotlight on ourselves we can't get rid of negativity in our lives, but when we operate in our realm of UNITY and we let the light that GOD has given us shine bright, we get rid of: Greed (Desire for material Wealth and Gain), Gluttony (Consuming more than we require), Wrath (Giving up your Godly love for anger), Slothfulness (Avoidance of Physical or Spiritual Work), Envy (Desires for others traits, status & Abilities,), Lust (Craving for pleasure of the body) and our Pride (Belief in your own ability, not giving God the Glory) and we get rid of these things all because we made friends with UNITY, and allowed ourselves to become one; a union with GOD, so …

My brothers and Sisters, In Romans 15:5 "May God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of UNITY among yourself as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and Mouth you may glorify the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Do you know that there is power in numbers as long as we are connected to the righteous source our Lord and Savor Jesus Christ? In Mathew 4:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." The two sets of brothers were throwing their nets and sitting in their boats, but when Jesus spoke they didn’t hesitate they dropped everything; and at that point a connection was made and UNITY was born; they probably didn't realize that they had become one with Jesus when they decided to follow him, so the questions here is: Are we really following Jesus? Have we become one with God? Or" do we have an appearance of God and not fully surrendered our hearts"?

When we are in Christ our UNITY is our strength it is our power to fight off spiritual wickedness. There is nothing beyond our ability when we are on one accord. That’s why Jesus warned that a house divided by it’s self shall not stand; there is no good apart from God; especially if we operate as a unit instead of in UNITY.

When we think Me, Myself & I, that is not a planted seed of righteousness, but it is the root of Pride, which is a sin that divides us from the body of Christ. Me, Myself & I don’t demonstrate UNITY, but You, We and They can show us what UNITY is all about. In Psalms 29:2 "a man's pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor" Does that scripture not tell us why we are in the some of the situations we are in today? Think about what God has done for us through Christ, so that we can maintain the relationship with God, when you’re connected with him your light and righteousness will shine wherever you go. People will see that you’re down with UNITY, sold out for Christ and not thriving off of self satisfaction. In Malachi 2:10 "Are we not children of the same father? Are we not all created by the same God? (Then) Why do we betray each other?" Is it because we have not completely given ourselves to God? Or do we not know UNITY?

When we rely in any form upon our own measure of worth, we must remember that the word says In John 15:1 “…apart from me you can do nothing” Do you ever wonder why you can't? Think about the connections in your life, what are they connected to? If they are connected to UNITY then you don't have anything to worry about because unity is connected to the vine, but if they are connected to Me, Myself & I, then darkness can seep in and you won’t be able to see the light. Again, John 15:1 "…apart from me you can do nothing." Do you think you woke up by yourself this morning or ministered to that stranger on the street because you felt like? No you didn’t' and if you did then your not completely connected to the vine and operating in your realm of UNITY.

In Psalms 133:1 “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in UNITY”, Therefore, If we ever feel a sense of division within ourselves and others that are in the body of Christ we need to get up and travel down stairs within our hearts and check the back door to see who snuck in and aggravated our relationship with UNITY. Was it Mr. Greed, Mr. Pride, Mrs. Slothfulness, Mr. & Mrs. Gluttony, Professor Wrath, Sis Envy or Brother Lust? And when we find the intruder who caused the aggravation and our separation from Christ, then we must pray about it, stand one with God and allow God to introduce us to Mr. & Mrs. Humility; Why? Because they lack pride, and when we lack pride and other deadly sins that separate us from God we can unite and be born again in UNITY, but in order to do that we must continuously check our back doors, because when we are walking in sin we are walking in death.

Did you know that “Jesus Prayed for UNITY… In John 17:11 "Holy Father keep through your name these whom you have given me that they may be one as we are.”

Before I close I want you to think about this:

1. Are we one of the given who will drop everything when Jesus calls? And most importantly,
2. Do you know UNITY? If you don’t let me tell you something flesh connected to Flesh is UNITY, but UNITY is your spirit, your spirit should be connected to the VINE. We are one in the same, just as the father is to the Son and the Holy spirit, but first you have to believe, pray and let God introduce us to Humility in order to stay connected; because Satan was not given authority over the spiritual realm, your UNITY and before you leave here today don't forget to LOCK your back door.
**Prayer**
Father, in the name of Jesus I pray that you bless us and break us over and over again until we have become one with you and each other; Father I ask that you fill our hearts with the spirit of UNITY. I thank you for allowing us to be in your presence, in Jesus Name-AMEN

Church Hopping?

What do you do when you have had enough at a church where you have become a member, now your tired of the he said she said, so now its time to move on, not because of the Godlessness. But because your not hearing sound doctrine!

But your hearing the Pastor bully its members from behind the pulpit. You start to develop negative feeling towards your pastor, yet when others start to speak of him to you your response is always "Pray for him", Now although your church service is in the morning your church is sharing its space with another church who's Pastor is sincere, compassionate nd much more! Not only does he preach the word, but he teaches and the same time. . And never have I heard him bash his members from the pulpit.

Now, ever since I saw this man preach as a guest of our church I was taken back by him and wanted to know where his church was, now that he shares the building, I find myself skipping the service of my church and going to his church service. I even tithes! Like I was apart of the this church. I have been praying, but God has'nt told me to move yet, but in my heart I am a member.

Today in church both our church and his church were having a meeting and I found myself listening to what was going on in his church. I am not torn, but I don't know how to tell my pastor that I am leving his church for the second service church. Should I talk to him, write a letter, tell the other pastor that I would like to be apart of his church...I just don't know. I have been with my church for 3 years and God has given me gifts, but everytime I use them at church The other members let jealousy get the best of them and when I decide to try to come up with other events I am put on the back burner nd its not only me.

I will continue to pray because with my gifts of singing, song writing, poetry, ministering I know God didn't give it to me to waste, but he has a purpose for each gift he hs given to me and I know I should not let this go to waste.

This verse speaks to me in many ways. It tells me how wicked people can be, how quickly they can stab you in your back and smile in your face, but through it all I stand tall and wise because I know God is the only one who will not talk behind my back or turn his back on me. Instead he leads me to him through my faitth and his word and he speaks to me I realize that all I put into him I will get out of him and everyone else will reap what they sow.

I can glorify God through prayer. I can call on him in my times of trouble and in my times of happiness. I can confess with my mouth to the Lord that I believe that he died for our sins. I can look outside of my window and give him Glory for how he makes the world go round. I can have a source of pride both positive and Negative. Positive in the fact that God walks with me and I shall not be afraid to introduce to him to those who don't know him because he is my true friend. On the negative end I will not ever think that I am better than God . He is the reason why I breath, see, taste, touch, walk and think!

Lord, thank you for revealing my weaknesses and turning them into strong characteristics. Although sometimes I feel that you are not there; I am reminded by the small things that you do in my life on a daily basis which helps to build my faith. Thank you Lord-In Jesus Name-Amen.

Well right now I am on my way to a function and of course I did not know where I was going, so as I was leave the house I asked out loud to God and said: "Lord Please sent me a driver who know how to get there". Although I had the directions in my bag, I am bad at giving them.

So, my taxi shows up and I get in and tell the driver where I was going. As he pulled off he proceeded to say "I don't know where that is", but before I could get upset the driver typed the address in on his navigation system and the gadget started talking and telling him which way to go; I just sat back quickly, but I thanked God Out Loud.

Thank You Lord, you always know how to show up abd show out when I need you too.

I heard a Pastor once say "You can't tell everyone what God is doing for you. Because some people will be in favor of you or intimidated by you. You don't even have to brag"

When I came to know Christ, I was excited! I wanted to introduce him to everyone. Some wanted to know him, some appeared to be interested for the moment. Then, I realized that I couldn't tell everyone everything because I had a glow! People watched as I emerged from the rubble. God was blessing me faster than I could pray.

During this process God revealed himself to me and he showed me who was who The people that I was there for
was't there for me when I needed them. Yet, I would go broke to help them.

Now, I sit back and let God guide me. I don't boast because that is Gods way, but I do wear my God repellent because when your glow turns into a bright light it attracts bugs!

So, now I have learned to sit back and watch the bugs bounce off of me and allow the Father to protect me. Fore he knows his plans for me, but I only have to let him be and for those who don't know Christ, open your eyes because soon you'll look up and God will be coming from the sky and I don't want to look back as I am on my way home and see you left behind! So, fast, pray and stay in his word, I know its hard, even I struggle. Remember our God is a forgiving God, so no matter what you have done in your past pray, pray,pray! Start working on your glow, s God can lead your way.

Jeremiah 29:11 meant to me that God wants us to know that you should not worry. If you notice that God is ordering your steps in life and you are patient God will give you the future of your dreams, but you have to learn to let go some people, places and things. In Luke 6:31 it states: " Just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise"

I sat an mediated on this for a short while, because right now in my life I am not please with "Man" (people in general), but in my heart of heart I know I must get rid of this feeling because it is not my fight and it's a feeling the devil is trying to make me believe I feel.. Deep down I know that this feeling is not of me, that is why I am puzzled by it. (Thank you Lord for the understanding of myself) .

I feel that I have been treating the people in my life with respect. Now respect to me is showing them that I care, telling them how I really feel, being honest to them in anyway that I can show them that I am a true person, but when I ponder on this I realize that these same people in my life don't do the same; they are the total opposite, so what do I do. I am doing by them how I want them to do by me, so do I continue to be phony with them because that is how I feel they are being with me, although I know this is not what God would want me to feel; I still feel it. So right now I pray:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that you help me get rid of this feeling; Help me to realize father that people are who they are becuase you died for our sins, yet gave us a choice to choose which side we want to be on and since my faith is 100% in you, I will leave this burden on you Lord, because you said not to worry and that I am blessed, so today Lord I ask that you forgive me for the feeling and thoughts I have had for the past few days. Thank you for loving me and continue to work with me on praying for myself and other. Amen Yours Truly.

It's All In The Size!

I was walkng down the street oneday and God told me that he has blessed me already. To this day, I really don't know how, but I accepted his blessings. When I read the verse of the day (sidebar) which was coming from (Mathew 5:11-12) "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of eveil aginst you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you" It reminded me how people treated me when they started to notice God in my life and what he was doing for me., but God showed me how to deal with them. He showed me that I was blessed. He revealed to me who people were and instead of backing away I prayed and continued to pray for them because they have yet to come around.

Anyway, just remember that no matter the storm God is there for you and blessed are you. Have a blessed day.

Be Blessed Or Miss Your Blessing

I realize the more I get into the word and the more I obey God. The more he speaks to me, but one thing does remain true and I would never dispute is what is says and teaches us in 1 Corinthians 2:14: "The man without the Spirit does not accept hte things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." Since, I have been in Christ I have watched people miss the direction or the blessing in which God was trying to lead them, and as I listen I can't but help to use the Word of God to help them see there blessings, but they don't accept it. They don't see my circumstances and where I am and how I am surving with God guiding my every step. Then I realize why we must pray for thy neighbor because with prayer and faith all things are possible, so if we pray for the person next to us, the next time we mention God to them they will understand and then we will realize that they have been filled with the Holy and allowing God to order their steps.

Thank you Jesus for ordering my steps each day. Thank you for hearing my prays and acting quickly. I know you hear many cries each day, so Thank you from my Spirit for loving me, guiding me and continually helping me to overcome some habits I have been trying to get rid of. I love Jesus, Thank you for continually blessing me.-Amen

I ask For a Word From God Today...

....and he answered me promptly.

I went seeking a word from God, by looking in the index, but then somthing came over meand I closed my Bible and concentrated on prayer. I prayed to God. I told him I am look for a word from him. I then opned the Bible to (click>Isaiah 61. ) I still a babe in Christ opened my study bible to understand the passage and boy did I get a word! It was basically talking about doing right by the poor and the lifes application was: Can people see that you are a child of God by the way you help the poor and oppressed or do they only hear about what you do by your words?

Upon reading this question, I realized that I am more of a changed person than I think. I was never a cheap person, but I when I walked down the street I never really gave to the poor. Now, when I see someone in need I don't hesitate to pull out a dollar or so, because I know that I am helping God, I am lending to him. I also learned that I don't find myself giving as much to those who don't need. I use to offer a alot, now I offer and give more when I see the need and I don't know if something is wrong with this or not, but somehow when the need arises it always someone who is walking in the spirit of God, not their flesh! That amazes me, but it doesn't suprise me. what have you noticed about yourself now that you are living in Christ?

What Sits In the Center Of Your Table? Is your Table Stable?

Look at this Table, so plain and new; Imagine if this table were you.
Look at this table what is missing from it? Will people stand to eat? or have a chair to sit?

If a chair is provided for your table, that means you understand; the word is "WISDOM", which you can only get when God guides your every stand.

Look at this table, this table is you standing on four legs allowing God to provide for you. He has provided you with chairs that are the perfect match because you were OBEDIENT.

You sat there all plain and new and watched how everyone judged while God BLESSED you, but you did not worry, nor did you try to figure it out because you knew that "The fear of the LORD is the the beginning of Knowledge, but fools depise wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)", you then allowed LEGOS to be played on your table top and with WISDOM God guided you through.

The LEGOS were seperated by color, shape and size and the ones that didn't fit were very suprised; Yes the LEGOS were alive!, but HIS voice said to you: This is not part of my purpose, your centerpiece, my plan, so get rid of these pieces and he stretched out his hand.

With the remaining LEGOS, a beautiful vase was built, it had a foundation, that foundation was you. It was then you knew why God chose those pieces for you because he wanted the centerpiece for your table to be attached to his vine, so that you would find him, get to know him, and learn his plan for you.

So, no matter who sits in your chairs, no matter what they bring to your table, just know that as long as God is first your table will ALWAYS be stable and that centerpiece that sits in the middle of your table it represents the Holy Spirit; stay in the WORD, PRAY and FAST, so that your centerpiece, whether it be flowers, a bowl or whatever you choose it will last; but it will only last when you allow GOD to stretch out his hand and guide your every stand.

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have toworry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus our Lord and Savior already paid the bill!

Nourish WIth The Word, Not Your Words.

Have you ever been sitting in church waiting for a word from the LORD and Bam! The pastor or the person giving prayer decides to become a "Pulpit Bully? This means that they spend precious seconds of the Lords time trying to get a message to the person that sits next to them, accross from them or behind them etc. For example a sista praying: "Father, bless all those who are on there way oh Lord. Teach those Oh Lord that by Yelling and screaming and jumping up and down oh Lord will not get them to you any faster oh Lord, Teach them oh Lord how to pray to you silently oh Lord" NOW WAIT A MINUTE! Has she lost her mind? Has she read about how one should act in church? Does she really know what a babe in Christ is? Well let me tell you, sometimes it is best to approach somone in church if you have a problem because trying to get the message across from the pulpit doesn't always work and shouldn't because that is neither the time or place. Sometime the person that the Pastor..etc. is referring to may not know that they are speaking about them WHY? because they never took the repectful path to informed them about how they felt. In addition to that, another person may get the message THINKING AND BELIEVING that you were referring to him/her, so now you have created strife with the wrong individual and the one you really wanted the message to go to didn't get it and is still continuing with their ways of worship (That should not be disturb, because it is said to come as you are), so I say to all the Pastors and sub-servants and member of all churches. The pulpit is not the place to deliver "YOUR WORDS", Remember that people of all ages can be a "Babe In Christ", so watch what you say and how you say it because when dealing with a "Babe In Christ" I believe that it is easy to stir up the flesh and make the heart harden, and this can cause more problems within the church. "a wise mature person is known for his understanding. The more pleasant his words, the more persuasive he is"- Proverbs 16:21, so attack the problem and not the person! "Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody"-Romans 12:18 If you have problem with someone in your church Talk to God First! and he will show you how to "Nourish with the "Word", not with your Words..YoursTruly" Remember, love your church with all its imperfections because nonone can be more perfect than GOD.

I came across a devotional on this website titled "What Type are You?" It spoke about two different types of people (Read below or "Click" the word website to view) etc. As I was reading I found myself picturing people that fall in these categories and when I got to the bottom the question asked: What Type are You? This made me feel a bit guilty because I was judging people who I knew and barely knew and placing them in these categories. I thought about the people who thought they were important etc., then I said to myself "wait a minute, I am that "You are important" person, but then I said: "this is what I think about myself and what people around me lead me to believe, but am I really important? Then I said to myself: "Why should I judge myself and people when God is the only judge! Who does this author think he is to categorize how important I am or anyone else reading his article is, so when asked: What type are you? I am what GOD wants me to be he is the only judge and he knows my heart, so why should I indulge in this question?. Side Note: Although I understood what he was writing about, it just didn't sit with my inner self. Do you understand what I am trying to say?

There are two types of people in the world," someone once said, "those who come into a room and say, 'Here I am!' and those who come in and say, 'Ah, there you are!'"
How different are those two approaches! One says, "Look at me! I need attention"; the other says, "Tell me about yourself." One says, "I'm important"; the other says, "You are important." One says, "The world revolves around me"; the other says, "I'm here to serve you."
Wouldn't it be great to be known as that second kind of person—someone others love to have around? Someone who displays the love of Christ openly and unashamedly?
The New Testament gives us some practical suggestions about becoming the kind of person who demonstrates Christ's love. We are told to give preference to one another (Romans 12:10), edify one another (Romans 14:19), care for one another (1 Corinthians 12:25), serve one another (Galatians 5:13), bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2), forgive one another (Colossians 3:13), comfort one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11), and pray for one another (James 5:16).

God knows my heart and with my losses I will continue to thank and praise the Lord . He has brought me this far not to abandon me, but to build me up slowly. When it is my time and I am mature enough to understand why I loss God will assist me with picking myself up and going after what God has planned for me, so until then I will praise you Lord, while I wait patiently for what you are about to do in my life.

LORD, I pray to you this day that that the family and friends who are in my life stop the childlike slander against one another. LORD I realize that the more I come closer to you I am much more honest with my feelings and I "don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because you (I) know they produce quarrels"(2 Tim 2:23)

LORD, I pray for your forgiveness for allowing my flesh to stand before you in anger at times. LORD help me to give guidance and advice in the midst of slander rather than put my two cents in the bank.

LORD, teach my friends and family to "Bear with each other and forgive whatever greivances you (they) may have against one another (Colossians 3:13)". I didn't know it then but I know that by forgiving we become more like you. LORD, my lips form to say " I Wish" that my family would come to know the glory of your POWER, but then I turn on the light and realize I don't need a wish when all I have to do is Pray to you (Mathew 21:22).

LORD show then how to "set your (their) mind on things above, not on earthy things(Colossians 3:2)". I am tired of their "Know-It-All" ways. They think that I am a Know-It-All, and before I came to know you I thought I was, but now I feel differently about knowing it all because I have you to guide me and you know everything, so I guess since I am connected to your vine my DNA has a little "Know It All" too(Smile).

My Family and Friends "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body (Ephesians 4:25)". Sometimes, your neighbor is a friend, family member or enemy, but how are we to connect and forgive if we continue to slander one another whether in a good or bad way. Either way you are talking behind each others backs and it's wrong. I know the truth hurts, but it shall also set you free! being truthful is being and becoming like Christ, so I pray family and friends that "In your anger do not SIN; do not let the sun go down while you are still angry (Ephesians 4:26)". If you let night turn into day and day into night while you have not yet resolved "old' news and "New" news that may or may not hinder someone's life, then it will build up, up and up until your flesh burst! Then you realize you messed up and then you feel like the situation can't be mended, but that is not true! The clouds even break up and re-group all under GOD's power, so let go and let GOD work it out, but you have to make the first move to trust him.

Family and Friends please "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32)". Don't you want to be like him?

Lastly, I started this prayer in my head today and will continue it until the Holy Ghost gives it enough time to mature and CHANGE, so "I keep asking that GOD of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the glorious father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the Saint (Ephesians 1:17-18)".

Family and Friends, our lights won't have to flicker if we just surrender, but we must have enough wisdom to hear him calling; hear his whispers. How long will you live in the world of GOSSIP, JEALOUSY, ADULTRY, LYING, SELF PITTY, SECRETS, AND ACCUSATION?

What steps do you think you need to take to join the world of: GRACE, GOODNESS, GREATNESS, GLORY, GENEROUS, GOSPEL, OPEN, ORDER, DAYLIGHT!

I've heard you say "I've already blessed you", but who am I to question thee?
I'll just wait patiently to see what you have in store for me.

Jesus, I hear your whispers and sometimes I don't know what to do. Even after you instruct me somewhere in my heart I worry about being judged by those who don't believe. Where in your daily routine can you become more aware of God's Glory?

I can glorify God through prayer. I can call on him in my times of trouble and in my times of happiness. I can confess with my mouth to the lord that I believe that he died for our sins. I can look outside of my window and give him glory for how he makes the world go round.

I can have a source of pride both negative and positive. Positive in the fact that God walks with me and I shall not be afraid to introduce to others who don't know him, he is my friend. On a negative side I will NOT (although some WILL) every think that I am better than GOD.

So, I pray:

Lord I call on you in the name of Jesus. Lord I thank you for revealing my weaknesses to me and helping me with your gentle wispers and help me turn the weakness in to strong characteristics. Although sometimes I feel that you are not their, but then I am reminded by the small things that you do in my life which builds my faith. Thank you Lord in the name of Jesus. -Amen

Life is a Temporary Assignment, This World Is Not My Home! (6)

How should the fact that life on earth is just a temporary assignment change the way you living right now?

Since life is just a temporary assignment and we all must come to the end of our roads and depart from this world the way I think my life should change right now:

I need to pray as David did (Psalms 39:4) because sometimes I don’t see what life has in store for me, so if I pray and worship God more frequent he will show me his will.

Realize that although I am a citizen of the world, but when my time comes I will be a citizen of heaven. I must also ask myself and anyone reading this: How do I get my ticket into heaven?- the same way an alien to a foreign country carries a green card, which grants them access, our kindness, love, faith, and our Godly ways will carry us into heaven, Why ? My thought is because we will be judged according to what we do on Earth, so I must walk in a Godly way.

Continue my walk towards excellence with the Holy Spirit and even though he cannot be seen we should keep in mind that “the things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow, but the things we can’t see now will last forever-1 Corr. 4:18, so “those in frequent contact with the things of the world should make good use of them without becoming attached to them, for this world and all it contains will pass away -1 Corr. 7:31. I must live life as if there is no tomorrow.

In conclusion, I do pray and worship God. Sometimes I feel that I don’t pray as others do but when God reveals himself to me I realize that he has heard my silent prayers and rewarded me openly, also I think back that PARAPHRASING “put your trust in NO MAN because they will fail you every time.”

I try to see things in Gods eyes; that is something I never did before getting saved. I realize I can’t make up for lost time, but our God is a forgiving God and I have already asked for forgiveness.

The gifts God has blessed you and me with we should not get attached to them, but use them to honor, praise and do his Godly duties. What are some of your gifts the God gave you that you could use to praise and worship him everyday?

God forgives us no matter what we do, so why can't we not offer ourselves to him? How much of a sacrifice is it for you to get to know God through the Holy Spirit? How hard is it for you to peel back your skin and WORSHIP the LORD with all that you are and all that you have? The bible says: "Come as you are". What do you WORSHIP more in this world than GOD? Is it Money, material things, statues of any kind etc? Do these things comfort you? If not, then you know that you are in the wrong place and you should seek your peace and your purpose through WORSHIPPING GOD! The world is dying, open up yourself to the LORD to see the purpose he has for you. Worship him with prayer and faith and you shall be saved.

You get out what you put in. Give a little; get a little, but as long as your worshipping faithfully you will be blessed according to how much you put in. Unless you are faithful in small matters you won't be faithful in large ones, so give some time to the LORD, for he owns every fraction of the second of your day "Everything got started in him and finds it's purpose in him"-Colossians 1:16b "You LORD, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you "-Isaiah 26:3

Seek and you shall find your purpose! Seek Him, he has already found you! Seek the light to set yourself free and find your peace. The hardest thing to do is seek the light you can't see, but once your filled with the Holy Spirit those without the spirit will confirm the light for you. You will then know the difference between wordly things and Godly things. -May God the the Souls of the people who read this message.

Seeing Life from God's View. Life Is A Test and A Trust.

What has happened to me recently that I now realize was a test from God? What are the greatest matters God has entrusted to me?

I realize God has tested me because there has been four things that come to my mind immediately.

1. I prayed to see somone I haven't seen in more than 10 years and the next day I saw them. through this God showed me that he knew my hearts desire. Thank you LORD.

2. I was on the train this month and a voice said to me "Minister to him" It was a homeless man who didn't seem like he didn't have his head together. I was afraid to approach him and did not obey the voice. I knew that God was testing my obidience. He was showing me that if I follow his instructions that he will never steer me in the wrong direction. Thank you LORD, for now I know what departmetns must work on to serve you.

3. Right now everthing is crashing down on me, and at times I feel like I want to give up, but instead I thank God for putting me in this situation. Through this I know that he is testing my faith in him. He wants to see who I will rely on when my back is up against the door. Thank you LORD, I trust you will all mu worries.

4. God speaks with me throughout the day. He says thins to me so that I dont worry. He tells me things so that I will be prepared. I was leaving to church one morning and a voice said to me while I washed my face "Be Ready" and my response was " LORD, I hear you. I am read". When I walked in to church and took a seat I was asked to read the scripture. This was something I avoided, but he prepared me for it. Thank you LORD for showing me how to listen for your voice to guide me. Now I see why it was important for me to read the scripture (Romans 12:1-2) because God had a message for me: "...Offer yours bodies as living sacrifices..." This is your spirtural act of worship (Romans 12:1) That goes to show that unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful n large ones (Luke 16:10)

Lastly, I asked myself what matters have God entrusted me with? For some reason there is not a thought in my head right now and if I did say something I would be making it up to sound good. Maybe this is a question I will need to come back to or maybe God hasn't revealed these matters to me as of yet.

Since I was made to last forever, what is the one thing I should stop doing and the one thing I should start doing today?

Wow! is all I can say when thinking about this question because right now I realize and think about all the things society says I can't do! like buy a car, own a house, my own business and other personal things I know that I am capable of. 2 Corinthians 5:1-"Now we know tht if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, on Eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands", but do you agree that this life is preparations for the next? I believe that is why when we seek and find God we have this peac of mind that sort of feels like the more we seek him the more we are free. Now, since God created me to last forever; the one thing I should stop doing is: stop being afraid of my abilities and gifts God gave me and start allowing God to utilize me for his goodness.

Although most churches use the "King James Version" there are many people who have recently come to Christ or still a babe in Christ that use other versions to familirize themselves with the life lessons of the Bible. Sometime we may see quotes from the Bible from others and when we look in our own Bible we see a difference, so I ask: Which version are you comfortable with?

What would my family and friends say is the driving force of my life? What do I want it to be?

At this point don't think my family and friends could not say what the driving force in my life is because I have become a different person before them and I don't even see the change myself, but have been told by others. In my past they would have been able to say my driving force was to become a singer, poet, writer, dancer etc, but I have become just different to them and them to me, but since I have been seeking God he is taking me in the direction of my purspose. It seems I am teaching and understanding the way I want to but the way God wants me too. I know that God uniquely created me. What areas of my personality, background, and physical appearance am I struggling to accept?

God shows me everday of my life that I am unique. I don't know if there is something that I am struggling with, but what I can say about my personality is that I love the person that I am, who God has made me to be. I accept myself for who I am. I love the skin God has put me in. There may be somethings that I would change about my background, but why would I do that when all I need is to trust in God because he knows my background. Besides, who would I be today if not for my background. God is the creator of EVERYTHING! so why should I struggle if I have him to lead the way? "I am not an accident! "Iam your creator you were in my care even before you were born"-Isaiah 44:2. Everyday, I learn to trust in him more because he was taken care of me before he put me in my mothers womb; which also belongs to him, so the question is: Do you think you were an accident?

In spite of all the advertising around me, how can I remind myself that life is really about living for God, not myself?

Well first I have to start with the text that is describing the advertisments around me. Lets start with Rejection, seperation, humility, worry and much more, but through this I remind myself that these advertisments are not the things that I live for. It is God that is the creator of the advertisments that surround my life. I am reminded that by living in faith that I live for God and he dwells within me. No matter the situation or advertisments that are displayed in my life that Gods grace will guide me. "my grace is sufficient for you, for my strengh is madeperfect in weekness" 2 Corinthians 12:9 "Everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him"-Colossians 1:16b
